He has a well-rounded background in both piano and vocals.  He began his piano studies at the age of eight at the Vincent-d’Indy School of Music.  He continued his higher education studies at the University of Montreal and McGill University, where he began his classical voice training.  

 

At the onset, his vocal talents were recognized and he was invited to perform at Salle Pierre-Mercure during a benefit concert presented by the National Bank for World Vision.  He went on to perform with various noteable ensembles, choirs and orchestras...Les Gondoliers choir, the Grand Orchestre de Châteauguay orchestra, the Choeur Classique Vaudreuil-Soulanges choir, the Choeur des Basses Laurentides choir, the Gamba Consort, the Cappella Antica Vocal Ensemble and the McGill Baroque Orchestra, the Orchestre de l'Université de Montréal orchestra and Parallèle Vocal Ensemble and, more recently, the Quatuor des Moulins Quartet.

 

His interest in opera piloted roles in Bastien und Bastienne by W.A. Mozart (Colas); Dido & Aeneas by H. Purcell (Spirit, 2nd warlock); La Belle Hélène by J. Offenbach (Oreste) and The Merry Wives of Windsor by O. Nicolai (Dr. Cajus).  He sang as a soloist in G. F. Händel's Messiah and J. S. Bach's Magnificat under the direction of conductor Nicole Paiement and in A. Vivaldi's Gloria under the direction of Mrs. Diane Geoffrion.  

 

During the following years, he had to put his career on hold to face several challenges with health and to look after his mom, who was diagnosed with lung cancer.  She was so much an influence in his life, teaching him to follow his passion for singing.

 

The following Christmas he decided to sing the music that uplifted him most.  He formed a jazz trio and performed Christmas concerts in the style of his icons, the old music he loved so much. The reaction of the audiences gave him the confidence that he needed and he adapted to the stage, singing easily and freely.  He felt that his mom was showing him the way! 

 

He continues to perform at benefit concerts, dinner shows, corporate events and wedding receptions.

In his spare time, he serves as musical director, vocalist, choir director and organist at various parishes.
